"Always loved this programme.....although I must say that Wallace brings nothing to the show. Neusbacher and Loades were,as expected, brilliant at not only talking through their particular fields (Strategy and Tactics), but also kept the original brilliance of the show alive. I will have to obtain the first two series somehow and watch them again." The original series' have been uploaded to Youtube by a number of different users.
"Just caught the first episode of 'Time Commanders' on the BBC. To be honest, Greg Wallace did a great job as host; far better than Richard Hammond. Also, great to see Dr. Nusbacher back as lead historical consultant and Mike Loades returning as weapons expert. I've been watching them both on various History Channel shows since I was a kid. So, Scipio gave Hannibal a good kicking this week, but I can't wait to see whether Napoleon can rewrite history next week when he meets Wellington at Waterloo..." If Grouchy brings his troops back to support Napoleon, we could all be talking French and eating better food. Damn you Wellington!
