Just started shaving my cock and balls - is a shaving rash common for newbies? Or am I doing things wrong?

I used men's sensitive shaving gel & a Gillette razor

Can also be itchy for guys when regrowing. Sharp new blades should be the best.

Is hair removal cream any better than shaving?

Cosmo stripper tips advises that you exfoliate, rub with baby oil and then use mens blades (4). only go over each area once. Then after use rubbing alcohol to clean away bacteria and close the pores... ouch and more ouch. Creams not much better - waxing is best if you are brave

You end up cuttining yourself as a guy with a 4-blader. I thnk its possibly to do with the "wonkiness" of the area to shave. You want a new 2 or 1 blader.
