I'm aware it can take a long time sometimes to make contact with people here, since so often if you're messaging women (as I am), you have to keep in mind they're (apparently) getting inundated with so many responses that your own becomes but a drop in the ocean.
With that in mind, I'm interested in canvassing opinions concerning what makes a good response to a profile by, say, a single woman wanting to meet new people? Are any women here interested in sharing emails they received that were particularly effective, from single males or otherwise? Is it best in a message to be overtly sexual, or just friendly and saying 'hi'?
Opinions? |

You won't get a definitive answer as we all like different things.
The best thing to do is be yourself and write what you think is a good mail. If it doesn't get you anywhere, change it round a bit etc until you get a response.
For us though, we like a bit of humour, plus more than " do you want a fuck" but it doesn't have to be an essay.
We like straight talking men who tell us what they are after and we decide if we want it or not |

"I start on the shoulders and gently rub, then move along all the muscles in the back...."
Had to read it twice to get that.....got it eventually
If it is to a couple then should be written to both (not just the lady)
Maybe include something from the profile that you liked and also shows you actually read it!!

Well, sounds like I'm doing pretty much what I should be. Guess it's just down to persistence. Any way to write a title though, for a message, that might sound a bit more interesting than 'Hi Jane' or 'Hi Kirstie'? I'm rubbish at message titles, and they're another thing that make it hard to stand out from the crowd. |

I always start it with a line to catch their attention, something to intrigue them...
"I know your mum..." or
"You left you knickers last time..." or
"I'm outside now..."
Guaranteed they will open your message.... and block you to be fair.
But hopefully you get the point, that first line is critical. |

"Are any women here interested in sharing emails they received that were particularly effective"
Nope! Cuz then we'd be inundated with copy/paste messages, all the same.
A good message has to be original and demonstrate your personality. Don't tell us what you think we want to hear.... be yourself! |

we always try and link it to something with in their profile. normally gets our mail read..
hope that helps..
and one small point... pics that we need to turn the monitor to see can become a tad annoying.. |

Be yourself, make sure you read my profile and a bit of humour. A picture is useful but only if it shows the person not parts of their anatomy only. Finally, the suggestion "Do not read this" would make me curious... so I would respond |

from my experience, what makes a good message is mostly , reading a profile before copy and pasting your "perfect message" you keep on MS Word.
Many men could of had met us if wasnt the copy message without reading our profile.. they're on block list now |

I’m not keen on providing a message template for what will likely work, as part of what works best is that the sender worked it out for themselves….. but I don’t mind saying what definitely doesn’t work for me:
If it is obvious they skipped the part of the profile with all the words.
If the message is generic and could easily be sent to a hundred different people.
If the message contains moaning about timewasters, people not replying or fakes.
If the message implies the person is socially inept at starting a conversation.
