You can also report abuse to the police online through True Vision. This national reporting facility has been developed so people can report hate crimes online (note: this does not include gender-based abuse, for this you need to contact the police directly). The police take hate crime very seriously and will record and investigate this offence even if you do not want to give your details.

You can also use a ‘third party reporting agency’. These are independent organisations around the country which have an agreement with the police about helping people to report crimes. For example Victim Support offers a call back service nationally.

It would be good to clarify learning here, OP --can you explain clearly why you should not have said anything?

Is it :

a) the way you have is illegal?

b) that you don't have substantial proof just heresay and potentially an online boast but even if there is one a boast itself *proves* nothing

c) if you, any of the others who perceive to *know* something whether or not substantiated, including a site owner who could be liable for not reporting concerns actually did think there was a concern than pratting around on an online forum does nothing to guard against abuse

d) all of the above

That is automated depending on what is posted. The mods were all probably asleep at 5 when it was posted as I was.

To the people who said " this is worth a ban for " then abused people, don't complain when you get the ban. No matter what the provocation abuse isn't allowed.

To the people who think the site is manned 24 hours, it isn't. So report and it will be dealt with as soon as Admin log in.
