this week I have had about 4 people inc couples asking to friend me . when you click on the profile to see if this is the type of person you would like to befriend you find it is a hidden profile. so you cannot see anything about them . so I simply decline friend. then 4 times this week they have asked again and then again .. does anyone else have this problem ? and why hide your profile ? what does that do for meeting people ? |

I wouldn't accept a friend request from anyone I haven't met or already spoken to extensively.
If they keep requesting, block them.
I'm hidden because I'm not going to be meeting anyone new until after the new year as I'm too busy. |

People hide their profile for all sorts of reasons (taking a break, minimising messages etc) although it is strange that they'd send a Friend Request and then expect you to accept based on their profile being hidden.
Quick tip though if you don't do anything (i.e. accept or delete) with the friend request they can't send you another and their original request just sits in the list. |

I have noticed a few have their profile hidden then take part in a send a picture or would you kiss or avoid thread. I find it bizarre. It's nearly as frustrating as those who take part in the Face Pic Friday thread with lots of filters.
I understand some people hide profiles to have a quiet spell but to then send requests is strange. Have you been chatting with said people before the friend request? |

 This....it's not Blind Date ffs! How can you judge if they are people you want to meet? And how arrogant to assume just because you tick their boxes that they will tick yours!? They would go straight into my Block List. |

I really think their should be a filter so people with empty text no pic/ no membership profiles can't view others who have, its pointless and bit creepy them looking at you all the time. |
