Shopping--hell at the best of times, worse in December.

Merry Bah Humbug to all.

I never go to the shops. I have no urge to spend a day, being crushed under the huge throng of muggles and drones aimlessly wandering the streets.

"No way. The best part is stopping at the pub for lunch "

OOOOH there is that.

Maybe a trip to Boots is in order so I can at least pretend to have shopped in order to get my reward.

I did my present shopping already, thank goodness. I,m fed up of all the hard sell of food, sweets cakes, ect. A lot of it on sale atm goes out of date before Christmas, no wonder so many people are getting overweight. I am pissed off with going to the shops in a way I haven't been before at Christmas. Even the charity shops are no fun atm, I,'ve heard staff moaning about customers, moaning about donated dresses (they were actually good quality dresses just bright colours) I,m pissed off with everything retail atm. XXX

My friend and I used to meet in the big shopping centre once a month. We would sit in a restaurant at the food court for 6 hours, just talking. Then, quickly run around the shops before we had to leave.

Am I alone in not finding advertisement and hard sell a problem?

"Am I alone in not finding advertisement and hard sell a problem?"

No. I pretty much go around with blinkers on so advertising is wasted on me.
