In a casual trawling of the Internet blogosphere, I come across this sickening example:
https://thefemministfatale.wordpress.com
If it's meant to be satire, I'm not laughing.
Why? Because of this bit:
"A few dates later I took his virginity. As a matter of speaking. Er, I took his real virginity. I told him it would be kinky if I tied him up before we got down to business. I told him to promise me, no matter what, to let me do what I had to. No safewords. No sissy shit. Nothing. Why? Because it would be hotter this way."
And this bit:
"So, fifteen minutes later he’s totally confused and worried, so I finally get down to business with my ten-inch strap on. So I enter him, and he just goes BALLISTIC. He forces me to untie him, and he’s flailing around clutching his ass and yelling at me. Now, I’m completely furious – not just because of his outburst, but furious at ALL men. I’ve had quite enough of this imbalance in intergender sexual power. Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it, boys, and don’t penetrate a lady if you don’t want to get penetrated back."
Maybe the author thinks that it's a witty satire of 'militant feminism,' but I'm not 'getting the joke.' |

some feminists do consider penetration to be rape coz it's unneccessary and it's invasive to a womans body.
i don't fully understand it myself although i get it a bit. |

I don't think it was a joke. It's a reworking of a scenario to show how if you are not OK with something being done to you, don't do it to others.
Its a fairly aggressive one I'll admit but come on.... How many guys try to force anal on women yet would freak out when she tries to put so much as a pinkie up there? Same with oral, quite a few guys expect blow job's yet would gip at the thought of licking a girl out.
Yes it's a shocking paragraph or two but it clearly has had the desired effect. People are talking about it.
I'd be interested to know if you get so het up reading popular fiction like game of thrones which has rape scenes in it? Or is that OK because it's written by a bloke and it's generally women on the receiving end? |

Raping women and the glorification of it has been written about for centuries. And modern popular culture portrays it. Doesn't make it right. |

I do not have a problem with those scenes or the one posted by OP. As long as there is context and it is an integral part of the story and not gratuitous then it is ok. That said quite often leaving it to the veiwers/readers imagination is best |

First off, no, I've never read Game of Thrones; and no, I don't think that Martin should get a 'free pass.'
Second, I take great exception to your implication that I'm only complaining about this blog because it's talking about a woman having non-consentual sexual activity with a man.
Under English Common Law, the crime of 'Sexual Assualt by Penetration' - for instance, non-consensual penetration with a dildo - is treated identically to rape.
A woman who forces herself upon a man in the manner described in the blog post would, if found guilty in a court of law, face the maximum penalty of LIFE IMPRISONMENT. [Bold text for emphasis.] |

Of course she would, no one is questioning that. Rape is rape regardless of gender, but you do seem to have missed the point of the blog.
The implication is made by you..... There are hundreds of passages written about rape of women (fictitious, as I believe this example is) yet you have not started one single outraged post about those yet you read a feminist bloggers prose (clue was in the title) and start and angry rant about how wrong it is. What other conclusion were we to reach?
Again I believe that was the aim of the piece you were outraged by. Many men believe that coercing women into things they don't want to do is all part of the game yet put the boot on the other foot and all of a sudden it's a totally different ball game. Doesn't have to be penetration, let's talk cut swallowing. Many men will tell you how hot it is and how women should love it yet you go to kiss them with a cummy mouth and they act as if you are trying to poison them. |

Subsidiary to the above, here's the relevant part of the Sexual Offences Act (2003)
Assault by penetration
(1)A person (A) commits an offence if—
(a)they intentionally penetrate the vagina or anus of another person (B) with a part of their body or anything else,
(b)the penetration is sexual,
(c)B does not consent to the penetration, and
(d)A does not reasonably believe that B consents.
(2)Whether a belief is reasonable is to be determined having regard to all the circumstances, including any steps A has taken to ascertain whether B consents.
Looking at the scenario described in the blog post:
Does the woman penetrate the man with the dildo? Yes
Is the penetration sexual in nature? Yes
Is there evidence that the man does not consent to the penetration? Yes
Is there evidence that the woman is aware of his not consenting to the penetration? Yes
Ergo, the scenario described is one of sexual assault by penetration.
Sexual assault is a criminal offence, regardless of the genital or chromosome configuration of the offender.

Sex is sex. Kinky role play is kinky role play ?? and RAPE IS RAPE.
Sex is great, kinky role play sex is greater BUT RAPE IS RAPE.
what ever gender it is.
You are offended by it, some have probably got off on it! Not my cuppa tea I admit.
Id say, unless you thought it was a true story (in which I would report to the police).

Right Evie, let's point out a couple of things that are wrong with your above rant:
First, you didn't reach a 'conclusion.' You asked a loaded question; one implying that I would not be getting so 'het up' if the roles were reversed.
Second, the fact that I have not started any posts concerning rape in 'Game of Thrones,' 'Poldark' or the like does not invalidate my criticism of the blog cited in my OP.
Third, while I may not have started any threads of this nature concerning male-on-female sexual violence, that does not give you the right to imply that I have not spoken up about it on other occasions.

She turned the tables as it's usually men doing the "You can take it baby, it'll only hurt for a second or two" before shoving their cock in an arse. That's men and women's arses.
What I have found is, men like to dish it out, they rarely like to take the same.

Right then Devonnewbie (not sure why we are starting all posts like this now but hey, you seem to like it)
I have not contradicted myself at all. I have not stated you think male on female sexual violence is OK, I have simply questioned why it has taken a piece about sexual violence towards men, Written by a female, to move you to write a ranty post.
I would hope that all half decent people would agree that rape is rape which is why I pointed out that fact was not in question. What is in question is your reaction to a storyline that isn't male on female. As I sat, if you feel so strongly that you have to point out rape is rape, why no ranty posts about the BBC showing poldark raping his friend?
The story you quoted is quite clearly written to show that you should not do something to someone you would not like them to do to you. It even says as much in the last line of the excerpt you quoted.
I have clearly hit a nerve with you. Perhaps because this thread hasn't gone down the 'we hate feminists' line you had hoped it would (and you did hope it would go that way as indicated by the use of the phrase 'militant feminist'). |

"I have simply questioned why it has taken a piece about sexual violence towards men, Written by a female, to move you to write a ranty post.
It isn't my first 'ranty post'...merely the first one that I've decided to put on Fab. I've been ranting against male-on-female sexual violence for many years, and specifically the rise of 'RedPill Culture' within the BDSM community.
Why no ranty posts about the BBC showing Poldark raping his friend?
Simple, I've never watched Poldark, nor have I read the source material. Ditto Game of Thrones and Fifty Shades...
I have clearly hit a nerve with you. Perhaps because this thread hasn't gone down the 'we hate feminists' line you had hoped it would.
No, you've hit a nerve because you insist on attacking me with 'strawman' arguments.
You did hope it would go that way as indicated by the use of the phrase 'militant feminist.'
No, I suggested that the blogger might have been attempting to satirise - badly - what they perceived as 'militant feminist' thinking. That is different from using 'militant feminist' as an ad hominem attack "

Just to clarify Evie, I don't 'hate feminists,' nor did I write this tread as a 'feminist bashing' piece.
You saw that I had used the phrase 'militant feminism,' and assumed that I must be trying to start a an anti-feminist thread.
However, what I actually said was that I interpreted the blog as a 'satire of 'militant feminism;'' albeit one that I did not find amusing. |

In the interest of balance.... Where can we read your other ranty posts about female on male sexual violence? As this is the only post about it if yours we can read it is hard to draw any other conclusion that the one you claim to be inaccurate.
I find it hard to believe that you fail to see that the blog you read is actually proving that rape is rape regardless of gender to be honest. The fact that people seem blind to the point it raises actually emphasises the need for it more. |

Unfortunately, unless you're a member of Fetlife, you can't read the various comments that I've posted on the subject. Even then, I've not written any posts myself; just comments on the writings of others. |

I agree that we shouldn't ignore the fact that sex crimes can be committed by people of all genders. If that's what the blog is trying to say, then that is great.
However, when I looked at the blog, what I saw was a disgusting satire written by someone whose intention it was to portray all feminists as crazy, man-hating bigots. |
