I am turning into one..
I am so happy. 
Are you more tolerant as you grow older. I am getting grumpier in shops, on the phone to customer service depts and in restaurants.
Polite but very grumpy.

I am certainly getting less tolerant as I get older. I am increasingly finding myself tutting or worse at TV programes. I remember my mum doing it when I was younger and thinking tat I would NEVER do that!  |

Damn. I assumed it was just that the service industry had got much worse..... you mean its me??? I tell kids off in supermarkets for bad language, tell people that I could do a better job myself, tell cold callers to give me their home number and I will get back to them, and invite in Jehovers to argue some points I dont approve of. its just the realisation that things aint what they use to be.
and what it was is no longer it.
and that it is now appears to be scary and strange.
and you cannot get a decent conversation because people are too busy or have things in their ears because in truth anyone wants to alone with themselves.

Having watched Grumpy Old Men for years, agreed with everything they've said, which when all said and done is common sense, become one myself, the reason we are much more tolerant is that :
We have to be , fuck all happens to change things, back to how it was, or for better things, practices etc.
