Effing commuting. Just started a new job in Leeds and have to do the train as parking requires a bank loan or gold bullion eughggg
A zillion people avoiding eye contact and communicating with anyone crammed into a tiny metal moving box, a seat if you're lucky, no room to move and relax on this hell ride, and the obligatory Train Twat who talks so loud about drivel that you just want to throat punch them then take a photo to shame them on a fictional Facebook group you've been toying with starting called Today's Train Twat Awards!

Ok....
This morning, on my daily commute to work. I'm riding along minding my own when some dick decides to cut into the bus lane and nearly hit me.
After hurtling a bunch of abuse at me he decides "no, this isn't enough!" And he stops a little bit up the road and gets out of the car. Me being a polite chap I pull up behind him to see what the problem actually was.
So I'm now standing over what looks like a Bilbo Baghins look a like as he's shouting all the F's and C's you can think of at me.
I apologised for using the road as I should've been and also apologised for him not seeming to understand what the solid white line painted in the road was.
This pocket sized hurricane has then kicked my bike, jumped into his car and drove off before I had a chance to say any thing.
So I'm now sat in work, red faced, angry and really bloody hot |

My rant is that at two Temp jobs that I'm being considered for via an agency, the respective management teams still can't make up their ruddy minds about a final decision, DESPITE saying they would make a decision 2 days ago!!
Agency too is pee'd off as the wait for final Yes or No!
Crazy thing is the two companies concerned need to fill vacancies urgently; I'm ready to move with 4 hours notice!

I can do better than that. A company I worked for 6 years ago had new lockers delivered for staff changing rooms.
Keys for all were locked in one locker, but manufacturers didn't supply that one essential key to open up that one locker. They'd to send one of their engineers who took 2 hours to sort out the selected key from his several 100's of spare keys! Doh! |

Well I had gone in to office as I had an Hmrc submission to do that requires boss signature - it is prepared it just needs her to sign it as I have the boiler man coming round after 12.30
Go in, get a call from boss oh my son has been sick she is having to work from home today - ffs I could have worked from home myself an postponed signature till Monday bloody great |

I am now a rant free (and birthday free -thank you Markoh) zone. Finally have secured a new job and start on Monday. Very little can get me off the happy train right now. Snogtastic booby hugs all round. |
