A crisp white,picopoul or sancerre.
If you prefer red then a merlot or a chilled pinot noir or rioja..
Or of course something with a fizz..
Turkey is a light, non fatty meat so doesn't need anything too harsh to cut through it.. No fats to dissolve.
Leave the ports until you are onto the cheeses, particularly Stilton, the saltiness of Stilton suits the robust tannins in port. |
