do you think you'll put on over the Christmas period? What is your Christmas food weakness? Or, do you simply eat, drink and be merry on copious amounts of food and drink?

I don't think it would make much difference. I'm fat and no amount of weight gain will change it

At least half a stone probably, if I'm being honest. But I'm a fat bastard and I gain and lose within an envelope of about 2 stone without any visible difference in body or clothes. Last year I lost half a stone between New Year and going back to work on the 5th because most of what I'd gained was water weight anyway, so it's not the end of the world.

Probably half a stone, mainly in cheese. I'm hoping all excess poundage will gravitate towards the boobage and leave my arse alone. (Suspect I will be disappointed).

I'll probably weigh less as I'll be running around like a woman possessed making sure everyone else is happy and having fun.

I have 2 days off over Xmas. 30th and 31st.

They will mainly be spent consuming grape juice. From a bottle....with a straw.

Hoping none - since I started religiously updating MyFitnessPal and watching the calories I just can't eat as much as I used to.

Does remind me that I need to buy more mince pies

I'm hoping keeping going to the gym over the holiday period will keep it off

It's the silver lining of working over Christmas - the lack of time to consume so much crap.

Yeah, it can be sooooo frustrating tho, especially when you're starving and scraping people's half eaten dinners into the bin!

I'm struggling this year, need to chill, but the people just seem more moronic every day lol

I'm hoping that I can hold off temptation this year and munch on protein high goods - so i need to reach for left-over turkey rather than mince pies.

I've opted for goodies that I'm not too keen on. Have separate chocolates from my kids and definitely not buying things that only I eat - like christmas cake

Oh and well done for the weight loss. Due to PCOS I can put weight on no trouble, but losing it is likng climbing Mt Everest - now there's a thought

I probably will put on some weight as I eat and drink with no care of what it could to do me. Luckily though my excellent genes and metabolism means it'll fall straight back off again

Not sure I can manage "More" tbh "Different" or "New" I could definitely handle though

Know what you mean about losing it, I struggle as can't do gyms due to knee, shoulder & wrist problems from a bike accident years ago. So just cutting down on intake & longer hilly dog walks is really it...

I'll keep at it, might need some help in there somewhere, might be asking for volunteers, wonder if the Samaritans have a special department for that?

Story of my life. PCOS is crap. I'm down from a size 28 to 16 now but I stil need to lose a couple of stones. So this Christmas I might gorge but it will be followed by lots of walks and fucking when not so bloated.

Your loss is brilliant though. If you've plateaued a gorge may reset your metabolism. Good luck.

It's a shame we cannot deposit (bank) fat stores and others can get hold of them.

Not doing anything for Christmas and doubt we'll be having Christmas dinner and I tend to eat my chocolate over a month or so. So hopefully none.

I've had a very tough 18 months with life issues and my weight increased 18lb over that period. Now I'm more on an even keel I've been losing steadily, so as the poster above said, I'm blowed if I'm putting it back on!

But it's fairly inevitable I'll gain a few pounds as I just won't have time for the usual exercise.
