Been swinging here for a while just recently started noticing this developing trend with mostly the couples I have been chatting with, where they are tell you on their terms what typ of alcohol drinks to get before their arrival.
.No disrespect but I think it's common sense, First impressions matter.I don't find it appealing asking for a drink from someone you never met or built any friendship with ..
As adults inviting someone to my place I have the responsibility to look after their needs and offer them what I can afford without being told what to do ..
It just puts me off as I believe I have standards and won't bring myself so low to such level asking.
We are meeting up for a fuck session not a pub session!!!... .
Just sharing my opinion as i have always look after my guest and do have a culture of hospitality,ma king sure I make them relaxed before anything else..

Be picky, if they expect you to supply a party just for them, that would set off warning lights for me. Perhaps if you bring alcohol (which can I say for the most parts inhibits performance) they bring canapés? Sounds like they are just taking advantage. |

Sounds like an entitlement mentality to me. You shouldn't be expected to cater alcohol wise, for a play meet. Perhaps suggest the alcohol you have there, and if you don't have their preference, you have no problems with them bringing their own alcohol... Get in there first, so to speak. Before they get to suggest what alcohol you should have |

I bought a bottle of Baileys for a lady who then reneged on coming down to see me. It's still in the cupboard if any sexy lady is into that stuff
*Other beverages, alcoholic or non alcoholic would be available along with a range of nibbles |

"Have I missed something here. Surely the guest/s bring a bottle to any party. "
That's what I always did at swingers parties. We took our own drinks. I don't understand why a meet should be any different, especially if their preferences are not catered by the host. |

I would have thought in a party scenario, the host would have provided the basics, i.e. a few cans of lager, bitter or cider for the guys, and a few bottles of red/white wine for the ladies. Just let that be known and that if anyone has any special preferences, then they are more than welcome to bring their own |

It's not you my friend. It's the new entitlement culture that has taken over the swinging scene here in the USA and unfortunately reading your post the U.K. The problem is that people don't speak out about rude behavior, so they allow it to fester until it becomes the norm.
For example a couple asked me to meet them for a drink and if all goes well , we can play after. I'm single and can accommodate at my apartment. We meet for a drink at a hotel bar close to my house. When I arrive they have a bottle of Moët champagne open at the table and are enjoying a Glass. I ordered a Diet Coke because I never drink alcohol on a first meet. After 2 hours of flirting and chatting he asked me if I had a place in mind to play. I said a have a nice apartment 5 minutes walk away. I go to the bathroom to let them discuss this. When I came back he says she doesn't feel comfortable going back to your place . Can you just get a room here? . Mind you this is the heart of Time Square right before NYE.
The cheapest room in that hotel would have been $ 1000 -$2000. I told him flatly that I was not going to pay half my rent for 1 night in a hotel. He looks at me a said " I bought the girl , you need to learn how to treat lady " . I didn't say anything I just finished my Diet Coke and started looking at tinder ... ready to make my escape. When the bill came , which was $ 500 + , he looks at me and said " can you at least buy the lady a drink? " I got up and handed him $20 for my 2 diets s and left. The funny thing is after this first meeting, I read their profile about 3 months later and I was shocked to see so many verifications from single guys saying how wonderful this couple was.
Now look around on fab and see how many couples are looking to meet daily, but want gentlemen to share hotel cost. Then look at there verifications and you will see they are meeting 5 guys daily and getting 30 -50 sterling from each guy. I don't remember this being normal for swinging.
When I was in London the only emails I ever got was to attend gang bangs , which I had to pay for or to be a lucky guy that gets to star in a porn movie for free. It was my lucky day to have sex with this porn star for free.
This is unfortunately what swinging has turned into and will continue to be unless people start thinking with their conscious instead of their pockets.
I wrote this not offend anyone or air dirty laundry. This has been my experience and I just wanted to share it with everyone so hopefully we can start cleaning up the non sense and start getting back to having fun. |
