I have the Hitachi and the Doxy but prefer the Hitachi.
I like the pulse on the Doxy but I find the lower speed on the Hitachi is much more intense and the Doxy doesnt go down as low and if Im using it for too long it all goes a bit numb. Its fine for a quick one though  |

I've had the deluxe, mains honey one for a couple of years, the motor is starting to go I think. I was going to treat myself to a Doxy but after reading this thread I'm wondering if I should go for the Hitachi one |

It is a brand name. The original product was from Hitachi and that wasn't really meant for the use it was put to
The Doxy is made in the UK and has a more powerful motor

I had the love honey deluxe one which died a death a couple of weeks ago after a number of years of long and faithful service. I did wonder about going for a different one this time but have just ended up getting a straight replacement. |
