Was reading the other thread about how many people you've had sex with this year. I've just soft played with a couple so no actual penetration. Now is that still having sex? I can't decide. |

I think of it as sex if it's sexual and involves physical contact. Is it sex if it's a guy wanking who briefly gropes your body? Tough one, I'd like to think not, if I didn't like him but it sort of meets my definition.
Overall I think of those people who I've had sustained pleasure with as my sexual partners and remember them fondly. |

I wouldn't count it as sex, surely sex is the actual act of penetration |

And does a strap on count? I feel a need to know the small print as I may have done a reverse Bill Clinton in my answer |

In my mind, there are many types of sex, penetrative sex is just one of them. It is called oral sex because it is a form of sexual intercourse. It all comes down to how you define it. |

So does this make me an out and out virgin?! Ok too much a stretch that one...
Most straight women find they aren't when I'm around but I can now assure them they're still straight and not afflicted by the curse of fab straightness |

Being sexual with someone doesn't have to mean penetrative.
I think I would feel somehow lessened if I was very sexual with someone but because they hadn't penetrated me could dismiss it as not being sex. |

Of course it's sex , as the kissing , caressing , and everything involved bring feelings and physical effects from the actions just the same as intercourse .
Ok , by dictionary definition without penetration you may not have had sex if you don't have penetration , but to suggest that everything other than penetration isn't sex is nonsense . |

Nope you did not have sex !!
BUT.......did you have safe sex
It depends on your point of view |
