Pet peeve. As soon as I say I'm a nurse certain gguys want to play a guessing game where I work. I don't ask you where you work. Imagine if someone from Fab rolled up at your place of employ! Awkward . Actually, has this ever happened to anyone? Xx |

I work in a restaurant. On the rare occasion i wait tables i always personalise the bills where I can and write on the top 'have a fab day/weekend'
Somehow it seems so inappropriate now hahhaaa
Yes, I have had someone I recognised eat there. |

During the summer I work in fields that usually have about 10-30k others in them too... If I recognise anyone it would be a miracle... But people do organise meets at them... Just too busy to join in |

Yet true...I had used the word fab for years and years and was always my 'go to word' short, sweet and to the point.
It did it the other day, handed them the bill and thought 'oh shit, I wonder if....' |

I have temped in various places and bumped into a guy I was meeting one lunchtime in the canteen. To be fair, we both knew beforehand that we had a chance of bumping into each other at work. We ignored each other, but sent some rather inappropriate texts later! It shouldn't have happened, as I worked in the HR dept and had access to every personal detail about him. Fortunately, I am not a bunny boiler, but given the circumstances, we shouldn't have, (or at least he shouldn't have) met. |

BabyGirl had a disagreement with someone and they threatened to show up at her place of work and tell everyone.
They have not done it (yet)
She's learnt to be more discreet now. |

On another swinging site a guy messeged me and decided he knew who i was and what job i did. He informed me (in a chat room and via private messeges) that he had phoned my workplace and spoke to my deputy etc etc. He was very wrong with my type of work and he got banned by that site. Sadly he has turned up on here with the same threats ! |

You really shouldn't disclose that kind of information about yourself. Leaves you open to lots of potential trouble... |

Is chilling beans advisable... I'm sure just storing in a cool dry place would suffice |

I work all over the place I'm a gas engineer and Electrian working for a major company installing home appliances. I won't be surprised if I've come to some of your homes and installed a gas cooker or electric oven. When leaving I always say have a fab day. |

In your line of work, I dare say you will come across them at some point or other.
To answer your question, I have seen people I chat to on here in work, but they are too busy. |

I was having an intimate examination with the gynaecologist last week and he said to me 'don't I recognise you from fab?',he wasn't looking at my face at the time.
(this didn't really happen but it would have been funny if it had.) |

I am sorry but I don't care where you work but I do love your sports clothing picture. Can you wear that when we meet.
Back to the question I hope i dont bump into anyone from here at work. As that would be bloody awkward to say the least. |

OP, if it's a pet peeve then maybe don't tell them what you do...
I usually only tell those who I'm in contact with on a regular basis. No one else needs to know. |

I'd shut that down quite quickly and say they don't need to know or say you have a 50 mile commute |

When I first joined I made a newbie mistake of disclosing the area I worked in, the guy started hanging about the vicinity to 'catch' me at lunchtimes. He was put in his place but some people have no concept of boundaries or discretion |

As a nurse you pay your yearly subscription to the nmc, a higher governing body that monitors professional conduct. Yes I am aware that your life on here has nothing at all to do with your professional conduct at work etc but as the nmc has strict policies on social media you should be careful about disclosing this information on a public swingers forum. The code of conduct for nurses and midwives also states that you should uphold a professional image at all times - announcing to the fab forum that you are a nurse and obviously whatever photos you have on your profile (I haven't looked) could put you in breach of these guidelines, just saying.

Can't understand what someone would gain from doing such a thing. It's not going to stand you in good light and you're name would soon get around as a weirdo. |

I wouldn't advertise this fact, the same as I would advertise if I were a nurse. You know people trawl these websites and it would look great in the papers.....'pervert' working with school kids/vulnerable peopel or the nhs. It's not worth the hassle. |

Technically you are always potentially putting your professional at risk of disgrace. Not fair maybe but you know the risks when you train. |

True, hence to close to home as well. Hence Bournemouth, Heathrow, but can't afford that, an can't get home in time, next club to try is the Midlands! Mrs |

I met a woman on a different site, and went out with her twice. She seemed really nice and I probably let my guard down a little. Unfortunately she turned out to be A little bit crazy, and started to stalk me at my work. I would see her sitting in her car outside watching me, and sometimes she would come in to my place of work and just sort of hangi around. I did my best to be diplomatic with her And she did get the message, but it has made me realise how important it is to understand who you are dealing with before you give too much information. Listen learned! |

Once attended a gangbang and it turned out the mature lady at the centre of attention worked at same place as me. Her hubby who organised the gangbang also worked there, in quite a senior job. Luckily workplace is big enough that our paths crossed very very rarely. Also the lady was blindfolded during the gangbang so she had no idea! |

Yep. Had guys asking where we work and a few guys say they recognised Me at work. And saying where I worked. Was proper creepy. Rather people didn't mention if they recognised me at work.
