I feel like I can't find anyone I like in this area. Every man I look at is just not my type.
When I talk to someone who ticks my boxes they're always at least 2 hours away.
What's your area like? Are the people their suited to your tastes? |

Most of the single guys around here are army and are not suitable for the way I like to meet. I prefer meeting away from home anyway, so I tend to ignore my local area. |

Actually very good for couples, I meet quite a few of those, but single females I have to travel out of county, problem with Devon is that we have a lot of buff army/navy types and the girls round here seem to go for them, which is cool, preferences and all that,
I don't find many single women locally that like a good old natter before we get busy and to be honest my local status updates are fill of angst and a turn off |

But then you get the moaning status when they go back home to their partners and wives... seriously judging by my local status updates there's a lot of promises going unfulfilled...  |

Do what I do. Have a job that requires you to work around the country and then you can fuck a myriad of people.
I don't have the same problem as you OP, I can imagine it must be frustrating. I'm not sure if you can travel or not but that might be the way forward. |

I don't have any trouble, quite the opposite but with the naval base, uni and other military men nearby I guess that's helpful. Apart from that there's some lovely locals here too. |

It's great where we live, we have several 'friends' that live close and therefore it makes it easy for us to meet up. We have 2 guys within a mile of us  |

My actual local area is shite for meeting so I've cast my net further with a larger area
Luckily the men I've met have all be prepared to travel / here on business or we've managed to meet at a convenient point.

Brighton can be a hotbed of swapping and it seems we are all 5 people away from having sex with others. I tend to look local but am willing to travel for the right person. By 'right' that's assuming the meet includes sex. It's a relatively small group but I guess it's quite an active group. |

There's plenty of attractive people in our area, it's finding people on the same wavelength that's the issue. That could be the same everywhere but we think the region does make a difference. |

I think guys seem more attractive the further away they are. I moved halfway across the country and the guys over this side seems really good until I got here and seriously considered meeting them.
I dunno, maybe reality is always less attractive than unobtainable fantasy? |

I think, because I'm not looking for anything specific, don't need an ego boost and have a diverse taste in men, I find it easier to find people to get naked with. |

I don't like to meet locally and have my looking for options all switched off so I haven't a clue what it's really like where I live since I don't see local updates. It also means I don't meet that often since I only tend to meet when I have time off work. There are people I have met before and would love to meet again and people I haven't met and know I want to but the logistics are a bitch. |

most usually live too far away, and as i live in a village not so easy to get to or for me to meet people as it would be if i was in city. A lot live in ireland, scotland or just in another part of the country who i like the thought of meeting. |

I live near Leeds, It's rare I see a local profile that ticks my boxes.. I'm happy to travel for the ladies that tick those boxes.  |

I have no complaints where I live but obviously there are gorgeous guys I want to meet all over the country. Distance is not really an issue as I don't mind travelling.. it's an adventure. |

There have been a few - there are a lot of millitary types roumd here, and I seem to do well by not b eing one of them, if you see what I mean.
There have been some messages from some absolutely loveley/gourgeous women who live a bit far - I don't get that much time, so I really wouldn't go more than about 40 minutes away. I keep meaning to, but I know beter than to promise these days. |

ive actually blocked most in my area.so many have proved to be time-wasters over the years
my patience is pretty thin with them now.
so i dont have many options ...i mostly meet a few regulars nowadays |

As I live next to the airport I seem to get all the strays staying there for the night messaging me a as I come up local.
Even now put on my profile no hotels.
