was in a charity shop with daughter and saw a dress that would have gone well for a club - very sheer and see through lace - 7 quid - just no way i could explain why on earth i would buy such a thing - i think i might go back on monday alone  |

Not sure how old your daughter is, but mine is now 18, and for the past year or so we've developed a standard joke about the "clients" that I entertain in my new flat now that I've left her dad and live on my own.
Of course I am nothing close to an escort, but these days we've reached a point where, when we're out together and she sees something sexy, she points it out to me and suggests I get it.
I've even tried a few on. |

A few years back, I popped into a guitar shop in Runcorn. On the rack was a gorgeous Rickenbacker 360 in fireglow. The price tag read £125. I checked the guitar out and it was perfect and unmarked. I took it over to the assistant with my bank card and said I'd like to purchase it.
The assistant was just ringing the sale through on my card when the owner of the shop came in, looked over the assistants shoulder and said "wait, this should be £1250".
My heart sank.  |

Ours local charity shop has loads of ladies shoes that are also only good as 'bedroom' or club shoes! |

Yeah just go back and get it. l scored a pair of great condition AdiPure kangaroo leather football boots. Were 100 pounds new, got them for 4. lt made me feel good inside. |
