I am not one for taking tablets or medication unless asked by a doctor aka if I have a sore head I let it run it's course but tonight I'm in pain and I'm is 1000mg of paracetamol to much or should I just have 500?  |

You can take 2 x 500 up to 4 times a day.If things persist see your gp.
Avoid caffeine and red wine for a few days. Not too long on the pc or in front of the tv either. xx  |

Thank you haha terrible I need to learn these things but like I said never really took anything without being told to by a doctor |

Taking paracetamol with caffeine is actually recommended. It speeds up the metabolism and makes it more effective more quickly. That's why many brands of paracetamol have caffeine in the ingredients. |

Additional/too much caffeine amongst other things can bring on headaches,vertigo etc. As a sufferer I've found out the hard way and have taken professional advice which has helped immensely.

Thanks for the advice I took 1000mg felt a lot better it was for my throats and muscle pains from over lifting in work haha felt so stupid asking for help but like I said I can't remember the last time I took a tablet or any medicine to help pains aches I usually just wait till the pain goes away  |

Thanks and it's sad I'm first aid trained and everything but don't know the amount of my I'm aloud but throats feeling better headaches are gone and muscles still feel done in but I'm off so I can relax and enjoy the forums thanks again for all the lovely people for comments  |

Are drinking enough fluid( non alcohol) dehydration can bring on headaches.
Along with ,stress, late nights, lack of sleep ,and eye strain with likes of TV,PCs and mobiles....ration them. |
