Coming to Birmingham for a couple of days with a friend and staying at the city centre. Any idea what kind of things are around/things to do?

Shopping is always on the cards but anything else? Trying to find some fun things and nice places to eat.

Any ideas?

Hey pops,

Welcome back,

German market is on and few nice places at brindleyplace and mailbox. Also you could try Jewellery quarter.

Hey! Yeah, I was looking at that. Hoping they're all quite close with each other. Coming by train so travelling around may be a bit of getting used to.

May need to get myself a little map unless they're quite easy to find.

German market and brindleyplace are within walking distance to each and you could walk to mailbox as well if following the path along the canal.
