10 verifications from the same person...

when someone messages you for a meet and you go and check out their profile..
I have no qualms about someone who has a number of verifications, as it shows they do actually meet, but when there are loads of consecutive ones that are mainly off the same person I just think errr no thanks 
is it just me? |

I'm all for each to their own when it comes to verifications, but I have quietly rejected someone on the basis they had 5 from the same woman once (didn't tell him that was the reason) so I definitely wouldn't go there for 10. |

10 was just an example... but I think anything over 5 is pushing it.. |

I see it as territory marking and off putting. Especially when the ubiquitous "I'd love to keep him/her to myself" starts every verification! |

I have a handful from someone, and although my summary shows that I've hidden all the verifications from that person bar one, as they were for my eyes only. |

Think thats different to having ten verifications, all ten from the same person a week apart. Each one reading like a snippet from Mills & Boon.
Each to their own, but I wonder why the recipient would show them all, then realise probably scared for his bunny if he didn't.  |

It does seem a bit weird to show multiple veris from the same person . Unless they show completely different scenarios ( gang bang , Mmf , outdoor , one on one , etc... ) I can't see the point other than marking a territory which is definately off putting . |

I met a guy a couple times years ago and that was it but every now and then he would re verify me (got up to 7) and I never really understood why ... obv I never showed them as it creeped me out lol

I have multiple veris from the same guys because I enjoy meeting nice people more than once if we hit it off. I am not a stalker or out to monopolise anyone.
They are not all on display though.
Unless the veri is written as a 'back off they are mine' message it just proves they are worth meeting again imho. |

I see it completely differently..to me it says that the person is happy with regular meets and that is ideally what I'm looking for. Most men during chat will say they are looking for a fb/fwb/etc and if their veris show that then I'm happy with that.
Ok you don't have to display the actual veri as it shows in the summary that you've met multiple times..I do look at that too.
So for those that don't like it there are people who do..swings and roundabouts. |

Am I naive thinking Veris don't show me me much.
Id rather sit down and talk to someone to see if I like them.

He probably kept verifying you hoping you'd show one! I had this from someone even if I didn't meet him again another veri would pop up. Put me off showing them. There's another person who'd send me one every time we met even if socially. It was a bit of fun at first but became tedious. I occasionally reverify if I meet someone very regularly but maybe once a year if we've had a special meet. If I saw a veri after every meet on a profile I'd stay away, clear sign of territory marking |

I've a few from a couple of guys but I hide mine anyway so it makes no difference. What puts me off is multiple veris from a woman saying things like 'I'd like to keep this one to myself' makes me think they must suffer with the green eyed monster!! Who needs that shit?  |

I don't see the point in lots of verifications from one person, it's not trip advisor 'On this occasion I found the bj to be somewhat sub par to their usual standards...'
It's unnecessary and smacks a little of lamppost pissing. I thought the whole point of veris was to confirm that the person is who they say they are and say a little about them, not to describe the whole encounter in minute detail. In the past if I've had multiple veris I usually just show my favourite one |

Yes, volume doesn't mean anything. I once attended a social and received 7 from one evening, all socials.
Some people have been on the site for nearly 10 years, even if they only meet once a month then they would rack up 120 verifications. |

It's a tricky one. I have a regular I see a few times a year who does sometimes leave me repeat verifications afterwards and I always feel duty bound to write one in return. He displays them all; I just show the most recent. I don't want people to think I'm lamppost pissing when they look at his profile and see 3 from me but it's entirely up to him if he displays them or not and I hope it's obvious that marking territory is far from my intention. |

Totally agree...we can all meet regular guys..but no need to show every veri....esp one after the other which can protray that they only meet the one person maybe.....

I wouldn't leave a repeat veri.I thought the idea was to just verify that they're genuine?.
I would avoid a profile with lots of gruesome details from the same person.Makes me wonder why they just don't stick together instead of continually searching for more. |

I always verify my 'Playmate' after a meet (loads), it's not a territorial thing, I'm happy for him to see other women, I do it more as a catalogue of our naughty encounters! Fortunately, we know each other very well and he knows this and only displays 1-2 of mine, I'm sure if he displayed them all it would look very odd! |

I think people should feel free to run their profiles as they wish without critisism. There will always be others who think they are doing it wrong anyway !
I have been swinging for a very long time and during that time have met some guys many times and would find nothing odd about having a veri from them each time (although most of my meets used to be via another site that has no veri system anyway).

Agree with you.
Would I start a thread about how others run their profiles? Hell no!
Do I comment on threads that ask a question, sometimes.
There are people who frequently ask for profile advise/wonder why they don't get replies.
I'll wager someone reading this didn't realise weekly verifications from the same person on their profile could be seen as territory marking and off putting for *some*.
That said, we'll never have universal appeal regardless, so it really is each to their own. |

Depends on how many, who from & the time frame.
I've met a guy who was showing a few from the same woman over a period of time. I liked the woman who had veri'd him, they were upbeat & non territorial so wasn't problem for me |
