hi pretty new to this, looking for first meet. not through lack of trying, don't seem to get any replies though, a simple no thanks would be nice or a hello back. are all people so ignorant. I find it so rude, or does it just show you that they aren't really genuine. |

Well it could mean that they are not interested and have not replied cos they get sooo many messages that they only reply to those of interest. It probably doesn't mean they are not genuine, make sure you read their profile properly to ensure that you match what they're looking for too. I have had many messages from people asking to go on msn or cam and I clearly state on my profile that I don't have either so if I get messages asking that I tend not to reply as the messager obviously hasn't read my profile properly.

There are loads of genuine people on here but as with anything, you will always get your fair share of ignorant and rude people as well.
I would suggest that you read carefully the profile of the people you want to message to ensure that you're all on the same wavelength and after the same things. Nothing worse than getting a message of some one who is wholly inappropriate - however, that's no excuse for rudeness!!

I've only been here eight weeks, same as you, but it seems to work for me. I've had few few none replies, but then I've only sent out a handful of e-mails anyway.
The thing is single women on here get shed loads of mail everyday, and they can't reply to all of them. You just have to make sure you say something in your mail, or profile appeals to a woman.
But your off to a reasonable start, you don't have a cock shot. If you did you wouldn't have got off so lightly with this thread |

Some girls have said we are not getting through all the emails whcih may be true for some of us..but I think the main reason... (and I am guilty of that, too) when despite my assertive and specific profile giys ignore my requests... eg I get married ones, below 30 year olds, unimginative one liners etc... so.. I simply delete. If you cannot be asked to read my profile, I cannot be bovvered to reply...
