How old was you when you realised he was fictional?
I was about 7. Our new home had central heating and mum couldn't convince me he didn't need a chimney |

About 6 I think, my older sister and I wondered why santa had the same handwriting and wrapping paper as my mam and dad. We discussed it for ages between ourselves before asking them |

Everyone knows the real Santa Claus doesn't put pillowcases in the bedroom.

I caught my parents wrapping my Christmas presents when I was 3. And never forgot it!!
My eldest is the youngest in his year & made it to yr 6 aged 10. His brother is the eldest in yr just about made it to last year age 9.
It's boring without the magic of Santa

I can't remember when I found out. But also I can't remember being traumatised by it either so I'm guessing it was just a 'meh, fair enough' moment.
I do remember every Christmas Eve staring at the sky out of my bedroom window hoping to see Santas sleigh. I never did though.
Then one year somehow I must have just known .. |

If Santa isn't real and omnipresent, how can he be in his grotto in Garden Centres and shopping malls in Reading, Bracknell, Basingstoke and Newbury at the same time then?
Pfft! Explain THAT non-believers! |

Santa is jolly real , I believe in his splendid jolliness.
I will be writing my letter today.
Pooch would like a new chemistry set and for myself a certain Icelandic Pixie singer |

Every Christmas I remember dressing up in a full Santa suit just to put our boys stocking at the end of his bed in case he was awake. That and gnawing carrots and leaving mince pie crumbs.
Broke the news very gently before secondary school started but unsurprisingly he'd already guessed. |
