If they are anything like me, an inter_iew is a chance for them to work out whether they get on with you and you will get on with them and the other people you will work with.
Smiles, eye contact and being friendly always helps |

Is it a competency based inter_iew? If so, have some good examples of how you've demonstrated the required competencies in a work or hobby situation.
If it is, all the mirroring in the world won't help if you can't get the buzzwords in. And sadly it has nothing to do with whether anyone can actually do the job!! |

Do your research, be honest and smile
Take a little breath before you answer to give you time to think and don't rush.
What type of job in NHS? I have done loads of inter_iews for nhs posts over the years |

Give a firm hand shake, smile, make good eye contact, don't fidget. Arrive in plenty of time so you're not flustered and bring your CV. Oh and prepare a few STARs.
Good luck |

I'd suggest avoiding the same old cliché phrases that they have heard a thousand times.
Try be original in your answers rather than revert to the usual "i can work on my own or part of a team" bullshit
And any negatives turn around into positives, there's hundreds of tips but these two have served me well in the past.
Best of luck |
