How about Frankie Boyle's comment on David Bowie?
"David Bowie was great at predicting future trends, wasn't he? Always seems to know what was gonna be fashionable next. He had an unfailing sense of what the future would be like. And that is why this year he chose to die.
"David Bowie willed himself to die like a dolphin.
"Our civilisation is coming to an end - not in some theoretic point in the future but soon."

Good - Feb when my dad had his heart surgery and it was very sucessful. Now he walks quicker than me!

More bad than good this year sadly but last year was brilliant.
However, all the bad things are out of control.
I have had the birth of my second grandson that i wasnt expecting exactly 12 months after the birth of my first so im officially skint for the next 16 years |

errr....it's been a mixed bag this year, one major horrific and ongoing issue but also lots of little good things in there too though. had a good if not damp festival season...all contracts won again for next year already, bonus. moved away from bingley, that's was massively welcome. i've met plenty new fabbers and have the most taboo and kinky meet still to come before new year so there are some small but memorable nuggets of goodness scattered throughout the year |
