So my personal preference is normally for the lassie to be much shorter than me, I'm 6 1 and I usually like lassies to be 5 1! But recently I've been getting turned on by much taller lassies,more my height!

This was a converation I've just had with a short bloke (the not reading the profile thing again) and he just couldn't understand it.
It doesn't matter how powerful they are physically and emotionally, shorter always equals weaker to me. I've tried several times with men I found very attractive but on a cerebral level, it just doesn't work. |

I'm tall and past rugby player locally and get nothing but agro from short guys when out.. Short guys are always big in attitude and usually gym boys too to make up for their height. Ivenothing against short people they just seem to have something against tall guys, so feel defensive from the off?! :-/
I love women in heels and any height to be honest but four to six inches less than me is perfect.. |

If anything, I'm just envious of tall guys as they get all the female attention! Sadly us vertically challenged guys are (probably literally) overlooked by the ladies as their majority preference is taller men! |

Both height restricted here.
If it don't float your boat then that can't be helped.
We have no particular type.
Sometimes see people on here and think wow. Then see someone the opposite end of the spectrum to them and also thing wow they are gorgeous but in another way. |

I'm 5'9 - 5'10 ish. (Ok I was 5'10 when I was younger and checked recently and I've lost an inch!  )
When I wear my high heels I'm 6'2. I honestly though guys liked women with long long legs but it seems most guys prefer shorter women. I've just ditched my 4" shoes.
I personally don't have a huge height preference. I probably wouldn't go below 5'5 or 5'4 though for a guy for me.
Other stuff is much more important to me than height. Personality. Sexy smile. Umm... biceps (my guilty pleasure).

I'm 5"9 so not exactly tall but I've been with women who are taller and smaller than me and the only time I think it's an issue is on here , and as for being a gym boy or dislike someone just because there tall ??? I don't think that's there height it's there brain |

Some I think is the main point. Double standards are displayed by some. Some will cry troll when stating a preference. I do think quite a lot of it is in the wording -
'I like tall men' or 'I hate short men, it's so unattractive'. Much like 'I like slim women' or 'I hate fat women'. Preference can be stated without the negativity that often arises. |

I don't see the point in bashing people for their preferences. We all like what we like.
Personally, I prefer short women. I've been out with women up to 5'8", and if I'm honest, it didn't really make much of a difference.
A little more work picking them up granted, but other than that...
Short is still my preference, but wouldn't rule someone out on height alone. |

That's not the case at all. People can state preferences. It's when it gets personal and judgements are made that the problems starts. Everyone has preferences. But *some* people are not content with just expressing a preference they have to put down that which isn't attractive to them.
There has been no nastiness here. Aside from the obvious. You'll fine people are expressing their reasons for their choices rather than their reasons for not wanting shorter men. That's the difference. |

No. If you said "I prefer slim women", no one would have a problem with that (and if they do, they should really have a word with themselves). If you say "I fucking hate those disgusting fat birds" that would be different. Same as if instead of me saying "I prefer tall men" I said "I wish those fucking shortarse midgets would stop messaging me." Different things.
If stating a preference for men taller than myself puts some tall men off out of some weird desire they have to find a double standard in literally everything, I am very much ok with that. |

Tall, muscular men. Other half 6ft 1 and kick boxes for fun. That said I met someone on another site who was 5ft 6 and about eight stones. I'm 5ft 7 and one of my legs is about eight stone! One of the best shag...still a very good friend.

I Must be one of the few people in the world who has absolutely no prefference when it comes too height.. i find really short super cute (in a sexy way), tall is exotic and intriguing and anyone around my height naturally easier too talk too, less neck ache. |

Not necessarily. On a swinging site I can see why people would want what they consider sexually attractive. Don't we all?
My only real thought is that perhaps those who are dating unsuccessfully should consider thinking outside the box.

a lot of guys don't get that we aren't using the same standards we would for a relationship, otherwise most of them wouldn't expect a service either -they'd be trying to date us and make more effort to get to us mentally.
i don't rule out shorter guys, have met someone my height and his dick was probably the biggest i've had from fab lol, but overall when lots of people are messaging you you're gonna go for the guys who more turn you on than others. i'd definitely not go for someone i find unnatractive for NSA sex, don't see the point when all it is is looks they are using to attract me. |
