But there is not one specific species of plant that is horny goat . The plant genus contains several different plants and any of them have been referred to this way. Imagine, each plant is a separate species, so they're all distinctly different!
There is no good evidence from research on any of them for a reliable effect. And if you buy the stuff, you won't know what you're buying. Not that there's a proper dose anyway,as there's no reliable evidence for it doing anything apart from making you poorer.
The placebo effect may occur but my very expensive horny tiger plant gets all men hard in seconds and repeat comers.
Anecdotal reports of the unspecified goat stuff won't count as evidence for something used similarly to pharmaceutical products. |

I bought a bottle from Holland & Barrett. £19.99 FFS! Read all of the do and don`ts and came to the conclusion that I shouldn`t be taking it at the recommended dose as it supposedly has the same effect of taking Viagra on a person like myself who is on a very low dosage of nitrate medication. With 60 capsules in the jar and a recommendation of taking 4 tablets a day, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening, it`s going to be a bloody expensive treatment, especially all it did for me initially was to keep me awake! |
