Despite it ruining my damn birthday (28th Dec, no party, everyone's away etc) I quite like it.

I decided last year that, henceforth, the correct name for Xmas is Xmas, and not Christmas.

Xmas stands for all that is sloppy, tardy, disposable, commercial and shitty about Xmas.

I know not everyone feels the same due to their own personal experiences and history but for me it's always a positive time of year, people are (generally) happy, there's parties, everywhere is colourful and bright, and it's a rare chance to get family together.

For others all of that is a nightmare, and if you're lonely or lost loved ones at this time of year it can be horrible. But for me, it's a good time. I love it!
