I vowed to turn off the radio at work if I heard a Christmas song before the second week of December.....then Nat King Cole came on singing 'The Christmas Song' and it's ruined all my plans....the workers think I've gone soft! |

God i turned off the christmas jingles on the radio on my way to work today. I couldnt stand it. I think it takes the excitement away, in my opinion.
If only we could wait til the week before I think I would find it more exciting and would want to participate. So no xmas music for me for the next couple of weeks at least. Baa humbug |

Every year I challenge myself to avoid hearing anything more the opening bars of Whams last Christmas which has to contain the most selfishly miserable Christmas lyrics of any song ever written,,,,,
I mean like get over it, she left you and now she is shagging someone else... |

I have a confession. We went to see them switching on the lights yesterday and when we got back to my sons we all curled up with hot chocolate and watched three christmas films straight after each other |

I do love Christmas!
The whole thing, except the 'Mr Greedy Corporation part'
It is IMHO too early for the Dec's songs etc, but as of the first of December the party starts..
