I am looking for a little advice from curvy ladies. I love the whole Rockabilly style swing dresses that are out there. They look especially sexy with heels and backseam stockings!
However I am a curvy 18 on the bottom but only a 38c on top. So have often found a size 18 is a good fit on my waist but too baggy on the boobs.
Does anyone have any advice on brands of dress that don't have this issue? Or any other useful tips?

"Mix a skater style skirt with a burlesque top ?"
This I think a big 50s style skirt with an off the shoulder top is a great look and means you can get the perfect fit. |

Mrs N loves this look and has similar issues, lower half to top half ratio which puts her off, hmmm, will show her this thread. |

I love Hellbunny but find every dress is different - you have to check the size guide for each individual one. Their halter neck dresses are great as the have long ties and are generous in material so they cover many bust variations.
I buy from a website called Tiger Milly - they do quite a few brands all with a good size guide. They have slots of skirts and tops so you can mix and match for a good fit.
Or go for Capri pants and top for alternative Rockabilly look.

Lindy bop...... think they go up to a size 26-28. Their stuff it really good quality and resonable prices. They do the big 50'd dresses but also a huge selection of skirts and tops. They are sized but each product is measured individually so you'll know the exact bust measurement etc. Buy loads from there x |

Maybe be worth getting a 16 then rather than a 18 is hell bunny dress. Certainly food for thought x |

Hell Bunny and Lindy Bop are good (their skirts as well as their dresses; they have a gorgeous pinafore style skirt I would love to wear with a Bardot necked top but I have the exact opposite ratio problem) and a lot of the Hell Bunny ones are adjustable due to the neck fastening (think halter neck). I also love Hearts and Roses London; I have to pick carefully because theirs are sometimes a little tight across the boobs for me but that might be perfect for you. |
