Just bought eight new cushions for the sofa, matching with the odd colour splash to break up the sequence, they go lovely with the rest of the place especially the new rug and curtain set. The other half wouldn't understand.

I agree. Basically, if you're in doubt, OP or have any slight suspicions just don't go there. Choose someone else. |

scammers tend to want you to go offsite quickly.
not sure what else, you can get a feel for if people are genuine or not by talking tot hem but anyone can make themselves look genuine when they are not. |

I look at things like cant accom/cant travel,'looking for'section being blank/having all option boxes ticked but not backed up with mentions of these in the 'interests'boxes. |

Select a photo and right click, search google for image, cheap and easy
There are other tineye....
We have our way to suspect a profile, but the best one, does it sound too good to be true... |

Loads of ways you can check if a profile might be fake but think it's almost impossible to be sure one is.
One of my first and best meets was from a profile I would have bet good money on being fake. |

* reverse pic search
* is the account verified?
* verified once, a year ago by a profile that's hidden?
* if the person is fit but has very few meets
* profiles that are too obliging
* new profiles that know too much about how the site works...
&c &c &c.
If it looks too good to be true it probably is |

Lol. For us the warning signs are short profile with none or very few pictures and profile says mr as permission to play on his own . Rapid friends invite with no messages before , did have one this week that we reported (lol still on site). Did reverse image check and picture was of a lady who has her own wed site .Her names Rachel and she reveals a lot , one picture showed leg tattoo then others the tattoo was gone and she was suddenly thinner with bigger breast . Amazing what a single guy will do to fake a couples profile |
