Ok i have had this happen a few times.
I have messaged someone to compliment them on their pics no lewdness or mention of a meet meet,just a wow great pics hope you keep them coming sort of thing. Then blocked why I'm only paying them a compliment just seems daft. |

If I put a new picture up I might get a few messages saying " great picture blah blah " now I appreciate the fact they have fabbed it but I do not wish to start a ping pong conversation about pictures which will then lead to " so what are you doing etc"
I for this reason find it easier to just delete the message without response |

Dont get me wrong it doesnt get me down it just seems odd
If i go to a wedding and say to the bride that dress looks fantastic she wouldn't blank me for the rest of the night |

I agree with this, I went onto a profile I thought I'd never seen before tonight, perhaps new public pics and saw we'd messaged 9 months ago but can't remember if it was a polite decline or a positive exchange, either way I felt nothing obviously clicked back then so I didnt bother messaging her for fear of being a pest. Much easier if you're blocked you have a definitive answer. |

Don't let it get you down... you're already blocked by default by 80% of couples just for being a single blokes. It's nothing personal.

It's just how folk roll here. Normal everyday social etiquette doesn't apply. Women have to run a lot of interference here whilst guys generally cast their nets far and wide. Once you view activity here through that filter, most things makes sense  |

I prefer people to fab my pics, rather than send a message, because it can lead into a conversation, with someone you wouldn't choose to meet. I wouldn't block them though, unless they became a nuisance. |
