You will get better speed by connecting the ethernet cable.

"You will get better speed by connecting the ethernet cable."

How good is the connection speed to the master socket in your home? Does it differ to the advertised speed?

As user above states, ethernet will deliver the fastest connection to your equipment, if you can use that.

Simply, it could do yes. But there could be other factors, it's a good test to eliminate if this is the issue. Miss T x

you have two bandwidths on your BThub... most are 2.4ghz by default (as it has a greater physical range)... after a while this will begin to fail (probably due to a shoddy box); if you haven't received your new box (which will eliminate the problem you have with your current box) you can shift over to the 5ghz range in the hub settings; if you don't know how to do this.... oh well.... but anyway; if you can do it it will solve your problem, but bear in mind that the range of your wifi will be reduced...

I didn't know that. And don't know how to do it either

as stated: the range is lower... I can still use 5ghz across my house... a distance of about 100m from router to furthest point. you will need to set up the 5ghz SSID (follow the instructions) it should be in the same name as your current SSID but just add "5gz" to the end; also change the access password for that connection by putting a "5" on the end.... the instructions when followed will help you shift over... but don't forget to click on each devices connection and move it over to the new SSID with the "5ghz" tagged on the end
