Have you made sure they are who they say they are first, I.e. through phone calls etc. Have you tried social events nearby or clubs? |

I'd rather have a cancellation than a no show. I don't see a cancellation as a timewaster - on the contrary, they are letting you know they don't want to meet which I think is a polite thing to do. A time saver, in fact. |

I don't consider talking to people a waste of time. I find it quite interesting, in fact. Anyone is allowed to cancel. Can you think of any possible remote reason why, if you'd arranged a social, you might have to cancel? As for not wanting to talk to you again.....that is a trifle harsh. As for being verified....big
deal because non verified as well as verified people can cancel and stop talking. |
