I had a binbag dress made for me once, it even had orange trim from Sainsburys bags, and a choker. I looked fabulous. |

"I brought my new tree at the weekend from the garden centre
Went in for bedding plants "
Oh they had the lushest tree I've ever seen on display - all decorated with cerise and purple and teal blue, laden with amazing peacock iridescent decorations, huge ribbons......I would have loved to have been some film star who could just say 'Bring that to my home exactly as it is.....' |

I can't go to garden centres on my own because I leave with garden decorations galore. Fake owls, little mushroom solar lights, planters in the shape of gnomes..little colourful windmill things that my littles ones love.
I'll get this years tree from Asda, it's cheaper |

"Garden Centres at Christmas
There's one in Manchester called 'Bents'... it's like Mecca! "
I know, they have become the epicentre of the gifty grotto world!! So many fragrant candles and tea light lanterns, so much pot pourri..........I bought a bargain of a gorgeous fat-bellied pink and white china jug that just begged to be filled with milk! |

Weve got a well known garden centre here but because i go so often dont get suckered. However, went to a different smaller one the other week and came back with some bloody expensive scented candle.
Going to another one in a couple of weeks that will cost me as it has a huge santa grotto and ball pool and god knows what else.

Worst thing my mum nearly bought was a £6000 polar bear. It wasnt at a garden centre but some bloody well known christmas place. She had taken it upon herself to go in the kids grotto and these polar bears where lining the way. They didnt actually sell them there but they had all been made and came from germany and the only thing that stopped her was the fact it would take about three months for them to make one |
