That was the place where I was asked to make up numbers on an interview panel. Amongst the stock questions was:
"Can you think of a situation at work that didn't go according to plan and how would you do it differently?" or similar.
The applicant answered: "I was out on patrol with my platoon and a woman ran out of a hut towards us, screaming. We shot her dead."
"If I could do it differently, we would not have shot her."
