It's just best friend it was just a abbreviation that was chosen think of it as best friend lol! And no one is trying to force anyone to do it but the boys think that it's ok the girls think it's weird |

I am aware  not sure that's a bad thing in dating though...

I've never had this with a friend, I always ended up with just close 'asexual' relationships, my best friend from uni (female) was just like that, we saw each other naked all the time and were just 'meh' about it... |

Have to say it's nice to have at times. He even stepped into the shower once, not in a dodgy way but cos he was running late and didn't have time to wait for me to take ages lol. Was just an innocent shower and nothing else. In a weird way, was just nice to have. Don't think his wife would approve now though. |
