Never had that stuff at my school. "
Mine either. We had pink custard. Cheese and onion pie and yoghurt from a big tub. I had packed lunch |

"nothing at all!! I went to school in the 70,s, no redeeming features about school food at all, although I seem to remember spending dinner money on fags anyway "
I did this in high school to buy Lucy's. Or we'd go halves on packet of 10, less than £2 then I think |

There and to the left a bit |
"Pink Custard"
Blimey that's taken me back...at my junior school they used to chill it overnight and serve it as a standalone mousse/blancmange kind of thing the next day too!!
For some reason though the school dinner that sticks in my memory is sausage, chips and beans at Secondary School...followed by a small block of ice cream wrapped in paper. |

Yep - today is roast chicken with roast spuds and mixed veg or a stir fry for the veggie option. Or a jacket potato and salad bar. |

Yes. Chicken curry, stir fry, cottage pie, roast dinner, jacket spuds wraps and baguettes amongst other delights. |

My secondary school did a cracking sausage roll. Primary school I had packed lunches. I don't think I ate lunch for the whole of y10&11 because I saved my dinner money to spend on going out at the weekend. |
