Egg and cress, Marmite, ham. They won't eat many sandwiches probably. Crisp type things, chicken dippers, tiny fairy cakes.
Keep them to one room. Have games organised and keep it to 90 mins 2 hours maximum.
There is ALWAYS one kid who's disruptive don't be afraid to be quite strong with them
Good luck. |

Egg and cress
Ham.
Tuna
Whatever you normally put in
Sausages on sticks
Cheese and pineapple
Crisps or such like
Not to many sweets unless you want a load of kids running rouns full of e numbers
And dont forget the plate of fuck all for the token kid that turns the nose up at everything

I would do Jam, ham, cheese and egg sandwiches, chicken nugget type things, mini sausages, snack size scotch eggs, veggie sausage rolls (only a few) and normal sausage rolls and lots of bowls of crisps. Also batons of cucumber and carrot, bowls with grapes in and mini pizzas x |

cheese, ham and egg sandwiches, on a mix of white and brown bread. No crusts.
Bowls of crisps.
Mini sausages
Pizza slices
Fruit platters.
Jam tarts/cupcakes
Party rings
If the venue has kitchen access, you could have a pizza party. Get a load of the big pizzas from Asda x |

" oh well ive changed my mind.
If your doing the catering and paying for it yourself then personally id go wholesale and buy like gala pies, things like chicken nuggets and other stuff you through in the oven like mini pizzas i wouldnt be farting around making sandwiches or anything that was time consuming |

In my experience the adults end up eating the sandwiches.
Party Rings always go down well and so do grapes and strawberries.
Garlic bread was a hit at a recent one. |

I do
Ham, egg and cheese sandwiches
Pizza
Savoury/scotch eggs
Cold chicken nuggets
Cocktail sausages
Crisps
Cucumber and carrot slices with a dip
Grapes and strawberries
Cakes and biscuits
I always leave the crusts on and the children can just leave them if they don't like them. I also do a few pieces of bread and butter just incase of fussy children. Try not to worry about things, I always do a joint party for my daughters as their birthdays are 4days apart and we always have between 30-40 children and I find it a lot less stressful than I expected xx |

If it helps I still remember the odd party when I was a child and it was with:-
sausage and pineapple on sticks
Jelly and cream
Angel cakes
birthday cake to take home wrapped in tissue.
There must have been other stuff but these were the items I remembered, |

She will have a 7 inch Rainbow Dash (my little pony) cake so that we can do the 'blow candles/sing happy birthday' thing to..
But each child has an individual cupcake to take home.
I bought some 16 onz milkshake cups with the domed lids.. the bottom part of the cup will be filled with sweets and then the cupcake will fill the domed section.
Thought id do those rather than party bags :D |

Be careful of nutty things in case of any nut allergies and pickled onions might be a choking hazard for some young ones.
Granted the parents should keep an eye out but little fingers and inquisitive minds and all that!

I've never had 50, but my daughter is about that age and I tend to have her birthday at mine.
I do: Ham, cheese, chicken and egg sandwiches on both brown and white. I don't cut crusts, life is too short. Some kind of plainish crisps, carrot sticks, tomatoes.
I bring biscuits, cakes and whatnot out later or they won't eat the savoury and they'll just make themselves sick on cake. |

I'm done with whole class parties now, did them for her 3rd to 6th birthday, her recent 7th birthday I had 10 friends and trampoline park that do the food afterwards!
Her last party was minecraft theme and I ordered bike jelly from America cost they have no blue mix in this country! Blue and red jelly in pots for water and lava, coctail sausages, sticky chicken satays, coctail pasties and sausage rolls, egg&mayo sandwiches, ham sandwiches, no crust and using creeper template sandwich cutters, big bowls of crisps, strawberries, grapes, watermelon and galia melon, cherry tomatoes, cucumber cut into sticks, chocolate rice crispy cakes, brownie bites then I hired a popcorn and candy floss cart and a sweet cart. That was the last hurrah, no more whole class parties anymore!

See im tight, my daughters never had a party before.
Ive got over 300 balloons to make arches and decorate the hall.. ive canisters of helium to fill the 'foil' shaped ones.. ive got a 47inch 'air walker' balloon in the shape of Pinkie Pie..
Also got punch balloons for the children to keep them amused. Handmade 48m of bunting to decorate the hall and make it truly rainbow themed |
