I love Russel Howard. Aside from wanting to watch his shows I want to do naughty things to him.

Adam Hills is the funniest guy I've seen live in a long time. If you get the chance to watch his live show called Happyism I would highly recommend it!

Billy Connolly, who we were lucky enough to see and meet last year! I also like John Bishop, there's just something about a scouse accent that makes a funny story even funnier for me.

Jeff Green; sadly he doesn't do many live shows but he does write for some big names (McIntyre being one). Watch his "Fuck it, I'm on holiday" routine on YouTube.

Dan Nightingale is a fantastic comic and should be massive

If you get the chance to see an improv group called The Noise Next Door I'd highly recommend them. Like Whose Line is it Anyway? On steroids.

Michael Macintyre literally had me crying with laughter when he was on the Graham Norton show the other evening.

I've seen Alan Carr live and he was funny although I'd had a few drinks beforehand so....

Dan Nightingale is a fantastic comic and should be massive. - a very talented comic and one who should be better known.

If you get the chance to see an improv group called The Noise Next Door I'd highly recommend them. Like Whose Line is it Anyway? On steroids. - not the same since Tom Houghton left.

I'm involved in the comedy circuit and the people I like most are:

Peter Brush - very tightly written intelligent comedy.

Roger Swift - a whirlwind of props, bad puns and sheer joy. He splits every room he plays, but I find him incredibly funny.

Billy Lowther - probably the best 10 spot I've ever seen. Perfect pacing.

Tom Binns - a character comic who can fill an entire bill by himself, as he can play 3 (now working on a 4th) different personas.

Then...Bill Hicks

Now...Jim Jeffries

I wish Hicks were still alive to see the clusterfuck that the U.S. has become. That material would be worth its weight in gold.
