Sorry OP. Sensible answer coming up  ..... You have some pictures dating back 5 years, on some profiles... That's the oldest I've seen. Mine are very recent. |

For a profile pik I can under stand it mite be a bit old as you dont want to change it a lot. but in normall public piks how old is to old ??? and i meen the top pik (most resount pik) is 2 or 5 years old to old or is everyone happy no matter how old the larst pik took is ?? |

I think it depends on the age of a profile OP. For example, my oldest profile was four and a half years ago. I wouldn't even consider using any of those pics on my new profile, as its not a true reflection of me. If I was still using that old profile however, then those pics I took would still be in my gallery, with just more updated pics as the years rolled by  |

Most of mine are very recent. I uploaded one yesterday for a thread that's 2.5 years old. It still looks like me - most people don't change that much as adults. Use it as another filter, if the photos are older than you're happy with, just ignore the profile. |

I've seen some profiles where the "newest" pic is 5 years old or more!!
Those aside though I guess if there's recent pics included with a profile with a few older ones it doesn't really matter how old they are if it's someone looking for meets. |

I saw a profile with a 90s looking pic, what's more it was the only pic and the profile confirmed it was 20 years old 'but Mrs still looks just as lovely'!
If that was the case, I find it hard to believe that this couple couldn't manage a more recent photo and most people would therefore be naturally suspicious that she'd changed a lot in that time and would probably avoid them. |

I dont think its a problem if you have older photos, some of mine are 3 years but i regularly upload recent ones too. My latex dress one is two days old. But I think its good to have a few new ones now and again. Ive been on fabs 4 years and some guys who message still have their profile pic from 4 years ago.  |

We (I) upset a couple once as their pics went from 06-11 and she got bigger as they got more recent, thing is we are not sizest but would rather know before a meet. Anyway asked for newer, nothing...silence..
But then could have been just the guy left on an old couples profile

Which is why we get suspicious of couples with no recent photos, and why I think the photo-verification thingy should have to be regularly re-done for couples.

I've seen quite a few profiles, male female and couples, where they only have a few public pics and they are all over 5 years old. I choose not to interact with them. In this day and age everyone has a camera on their mobile phone so its easy to take and upload a new pic. I always think "what are they hiding?" |

You can fudge the system anyway!
All my pics are taken pretty much at the time they're posted on my profile except my arse pic.
That's dated 30 Sept but is actually a rehash of one I took about a year ago. It's easy to just re-upload an old pic and it looks like new .. |

This is a good exzarmpall of my quesjun .....so the most up to date pik is 5 years old.....so is this to old ? and if so how old on average shood a up to date pik get b4 a new pik ? |

I see nuthing rong with a mix of piks old and new in fact I agree with your post ..... But wot I wos asking is at wot age pik is the cut of point .... How old can a pik be befor it is no longer seen as a up to date pik ? |

For us it's hard to say. If someone is active on the site, but hasn't uploaded a pic for over a year, it might raise a flag, but how much attention we play to stuff like that depends on how much time & effort we have to invest in a meet, and how we both feel at the time. If that makes sense? |
