There and to the left a bit

Looking forward to it....Ed's face last night when told he was going to be descending from the ceiling to the tune of Great Balls Of Fire was a picture!!

Competition is about to get serious though....for me anyone apart from Ed and probably Greg are in with a chance of winning it overall

Felt bit sorry for daisy, being in dance off and being voted out. She was not the greatest dancer, but by no means, the worst. Greg was better on the night. Yes apart from Ed, I think anyone is now capable of winning. Looking forward to Blackpool next week. I have danced there myself (not in a competitive way, though!)

He doesn't appear to have lost much weight, however his dancing has improved a little from where he started. But it is a dancing competition and now it is time for him to go

"Do you think that they ed is really trying that hard ? After all he does not seem to have lost that much weight does he "

Dancing has nothing to do with weight loss, but yes he is trimmer than he was he is trying very hard and that shows in his dancing. His timing is spot on and so is his footwork, he has improved greatly since week one. However the initial standard was so high that now there are some fabulous dancers left and it probably is time for him to go.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away & Spain

My Random Strictly thoughts:

Claudia & AJ - Jive/"Mickey" - Such a shame the nerves got to her & the little muck up. I still think they're the cutest couple.

Ore & Joanne - Viennese Waltz/"That's Life" - The sports presenter is thoroughly entertaining & I thought he deserved a higher mark.

Louise & Kevin - Paso Doble/"Explosive" - Not as exciting as Pixie Lot's Paso at Blackpool back in 2014.

Danny & Oti - Charleston/"Puttin' On the Ritz" - Completely out of sync with his hands in the side by side section with Oti. Didn't deserve the high score.

Ed & Katya - Jive/"Great Balls of Fire" - Entertaining as ever. Will he make the Final?

Greg & Natalie - Quickstep/"Born to Hand Jive" - It was easy to see Greg was enjoying himself & like Darcy, I enjoyed his performance.

Judge Rinder & Oksana - Salsa/"Spice Up Your Life" - The Bookies have him as the one to go, but I much preferred the Judge considering he doesn't have the "performing art school" training of Louise & Danny.

I still feel people that have been to dance or performing arts schools shouldn't be in this competition. Dan has always danced to the same standard and is a fabulous dancer, but unfair to those who have had to start from scratch. Therefore, I admire rinder, ed Balls, the little gymnast ,for their hard work and improvement, week by week.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away & Spain

STRICTLY WEEK 10

Danny: Samba/Magalenha - A jungle twist to the Samba with unbuttoned shirt. That'll get his scores up.

Ore: Paso/Everybody Wants To Rule The World - A modern take on the Paso but without unbuttoning any shirt. Possibly a love it or leave it routine, but nicely done.

Louise: Waltz/At This Moment - Another accomplished performance from the Eternal girl with a flurry of turns to nail home her obvious ability.

Judge R: Rumba/Lean On Me - A nice little surprise from the Judge. Great hand placement if not perfect foot work for me, but he clearly enjoyed it. Very commendable effort.

Ed: Tango/Satisfaction - Another dancing by numbers from the former chancellor. Is this the week he's excised?

Claudia: Argentine Tango/Cry Me A River - I admit I'm biased on this one but this suited her gymnastics background & easily the most difficult dance of the night.

Cha Cha Challenge:

My Choice Judges Choice

Louise

Danny. Danny

Louise. Ore

Claudia. Claudia

Ore/Judge R. Judge R

Ed. Ed

I agree. Someone with long legs will just look better in the Argentine tango, even if they're placing isn't as accurate. She can't control her leg length though.

I agree with this fully. None of the dances should have got any 10s. The scoring was very predictable from the judges too (but it always is so nothing new there).

Danny will win, Louise second, Ore third, Claudia fourth and Judge Rinder will go out this week.

I thought Claudia had the best dance this week but it was never going to. E reflected in the judges' marks.

Yep, very much so, think it was the right decision tonight, would personally like to see a final three of Louise, Danny and Ore but think it may be Ore's turn next week unless he does something spectacular."

I like Ore, a lot, but he may have reached the end of his dancing abilities.

Loved Claudia last night. Can't take to Danny as he was already a professional dancer and Louise just seems a bit false to me, but the judge's seem to favour them

I havn't liked her dances until last night, she was brilliant last night and I thought undermarked. I can't put my finger on what I didn't like much about her previous ones though, although I think last nights looked the most natural and enjoyable for her so maybe thats it.

I think you're right. Claudia is tiny, so not your normal dancer, but she is a little trier and has improved no end, so who knows?

I didn't think Louise was that good... but they are down playing the errors and heaping her with praise. At this stage they are usually more critical about the errors. The judges have her as their favourite.

Now that I've seen them all, I totally agree.

Ore and Joanna were fantastic. He's had the biggest 'journey' from never dancing to an intense Argentine Tango!

Claudia was so fast and light on her feet and looked so professional.

Danny and Oti - they've been mostly consistent from the beginning.

Louise and Kevin have been good but only stunning a few times. But, the public like them and so it will be down to the public vote.

My personal opinion, if I were judging, would be Danny, Louise and Claudia in the final and if they continue to dance as they have, I would think Louise would win, as she is consistent in both ballroom and Latin, whereas Danny is only consistent in his ballroom.

Have to say the dance off was a tough call and probably actually came down to Danny's consistency over the whole series rather than the actual dance off itself, even though that's not supposed to be the case.

Can't quite put my finger on why but there's something about Danny that I don't like.

Would like to see either Louise or Ore win it. Very pleased that both the Clifton's made the final too.

Bless her. Really admired her work rate. She is very young and I think, found some dances difficult when she had to express the emotions of the dance. Credit to her and I wish she had got to the final. Danny went to a performing arts school and has been on the west end stage, I just feel there should be a level playing field from the start. I still think he is a fabulous dancer, nevertheless.

I like Danny, but he didn't dance as well in the dance off the performance pizzazz wasn't there whereas you felt Claudia really go for it, relax and enjoy herself more and it lifted her delivery. I'm still a bit non plussed about Kevin and Louise getting through, nothing against them they're good but he's been a finalist before and it'd be good for another professional to have the opportunity and Louise just doesn't excite me or surprise me. Ah well.

It'll still be a wonderful final, and I'll enjoy all three. It's been a blindingly close one this year.

He's an actor, but not a very good one as he's trying to portray an "I'm just a nice guy taking part for fun" persona when in fact his blind ambition and desperation to win is blindly obvious. His "humble" approach is as fake as his tan.

That said, I love watching him dance.

For me, I'd have liked the top three to have been Ore, Claudia and Judge Rinder because none of them had any dance background and watching them develop over the series has been a delight.

Out of those three I'd have been happy whoever won, now I'm team Ore!

I wondered where you'd got to on these threads. It's been a good series.

I want Ore to win... he has had to develop the most and he's good. Stick with it for the first dance each and make your mind up then. Although, I think you should hold on to see Ed Balls in the group dance.
