It's this one....closest to Earth for 70 years....but only by 5% difference to average....so you won't notice much.
It's actually tomorrow the actual closest....but will be mainly cloudy, so don't hold your breath.
It's a bit of a non-story really! |

Call me a cynic but it seems hardly distinguishable to any other full or near full moon .. I know it's the closest full moon for 34 years but to be honest I really can't see any discernible difference? |

The difference you see by eye will be minimal. It's actually around 1pm tomorrow that it's closest to the earth, so the longer tonight goes on the better you'll see it - then tomorrow night it'll get smaller as the night goes on. Pity it's cloudy here! |

a quandary, could you change my mind? |
Tried to see it, but unfortunately the cloud and rain is hampering all attempts at seeing it in all its glory.
But the night is still young, hopefully the sky will clear |

"I thought it was tomorrow?"
Technically it is...
"November’s full Moon is also known as the Beaver Moon occurs November 14th at 13:52 GMT. It will appear at its fullest/ brightest the evening before or near this time depending on what part of the world you are viewing from. It should look fantastic though a night either side." |

"I thought it was tomorrow?
It's properly full tomorrow but it's out there, fairly full and pendulous, right now.
"
Not here, it's clouded over and full of rain. |

"Isn't the biggest moon for years (is, it's at its closest point) coming in a couple of days? "
I got the timing wrong.
Tomorrow morning at 6.15 the moon will be the closest it's been to us for almost 70 years. It's off by about 85 miles from the closest it ever gets too.
A once in a lifetime night! Though shag me tomorrow and you can have another. |

Pesky clouds. Trust me, it's still out there.

"Yep, looks the same as every other night. Not remotely bigger. "
It's more noticeable when the moon is closer to the horizon. It's an optical illusion. The time
to look is earlier in the night - that's when a super moon really looks different. |
