Hi all,

Can anyone recommend the best "build your own website" places to go?

I'd like to be able to fit it with a calendar, an enquiry form and ecommerce.

Thankyou! B xx

"Wordpress. "

^ this. The version you install on your own domain on your own host though. Not the Static WP.com version.

I also use Liquidweb for hosting and Namecheap for my domains.

Never buy your domain from the same place that you host from...if one or the other goes down you have a hope of getting your shit back online, if your domain and hosting is in the smae place your kind of fucked.

I used ekmpowershop to build and host my company ecommerce site. Hundreds of modifiable templates, you can put paypal or card payment carts in. I got a great one going in a few days.

Have a look at wordpress I built my own and think it looks great.

Plenty of youtube videos to work you through it as slow as you like and pm me if you want the name of a hosting company that I found amazingly helpful

If you use a mac I recommend squarespace although it isn't free; but the pricing is reasonable; and is html 5 compatible.

It also converts well to mobile format (iOS and android) to be honest its about the best I have found, the designer system is great, but as I say, it will cost.
