Just thought I'd ask this on here, seems a good a plan as any

Anyone know of a way I can get from Warrington to Liverpool by 9am on Boxing Day this year? I can't find any trains or anything.

Not asking anyone to do my research but has anyone had to make the same journey previously?

The joys of retail

Good morning everyone x

Could always find someone to drive you/quit your job in retail?

"Cycle? It really isn't that far."

I have considered this option... It's about 20 miles...

It's a last resort I guess. Cheers

I came out of a life as an IT square to do this, no chance of quitting haha.

Taxi Is always there obviously, just checking on here before I commit to taxi

Ask family or friend for a lift, give them a few quid to cover petrol plus a bit extra to keep them sweet could be cheaper than a taxi.

If ya not a cyclists you'll feel that the following day ha, I do 28 miles daily and it really is the cheapest option (dependant on weather of course).

I thought it was illegal now for taxi firms to charge double fare

Well there are no trains running north to south over Boxing Day and I can't even get to Heathrow for an early flight as no busses running

So it looks like I will be missing first league game of season

Have you checked with your employers. I know some will help with the cost if there is no available public transport. Or see if they have lift share for thr day
