Ok so if you were to participate in the show and had to cook a 3 course meal what would it be or if you had a hot date over what would you choose to make to impress her/him.

I've never ever had a man cook for me

Love your starter but I'd not thank you for the salmon. Much prefer sea bass or steak and a lighter dessert. X

I would do a Beef casserole in the sloooooooow cooker.......

Easy, foolproof, no mess to clean up afterwards,

Just 2 plates and 2 forks to wash up.

Keep it simple - and do it well!

I'd do chateaubriand with chunky chips and seasonal veg and a side of sauce. Some kind of seafood starter maybe prawn gyoza or gambas al ajillo and for dessert I'd go for a lemon mascarpone mousse or a sorbet. Then cheese board with port or coffee x

Mmm crab linguine sounds delightful, I absolutely adore Italian food but I can't cook it so I'd stick with something I know I can cook but if I go out (which I never do) I always choose Italian and fish or seafood x

Yeah, get a Madeira cake, slice in half then circles (makes about 6) jam, ice cream, put in the freezer while you make the meringue, dollop on top then bake for a few mins, mine is probably cheating somewhat but so yummy x

"If go with an Italian themed dinner.

Simple bruschettas for starterse with a pesto or sun dried tomato toppings.

Pollo a cacciatore for main

And a Tira Misu for dessert

Accompanied with a fine Chianti, and a Moscato d'Asti as a desert wine

Can we have olives aswell? Omg I adore tiramisu, the Italian traditional one though. Moscato is very sweet is the d Asti sparkling I assume?

Only tried olives the other day for the first time, pleasanty surprised x

Omg really? I adore them. Not fussed on the black ones though. Nothing nicer than a glass of red some nice bread and olives. Stuffed garlic ones are delicious x

I like this thread, I've given you something to try and you've done the same, I will try this next date night x"

I think I would start with a goats cheese and beetroot tartlet, with salad leaves.

Main would probably be a good fillet steak cooked to the persons liking accompanied with fried onion mash and seasonal veg

Desert would probably knock up a lemon posset

I'm not a fan of olives myself, but there's no reason they can't be served as part of an antipasti

The chateaubriand would always be cooked medium rare, lemon desserts are my favourite so I was being a bit selfish on both counts. And as for mojitos they are a staple, so much so I have mint growing in the garden and in pots during the winter

Well jack your missus is a lucky lady forgot about scallops omg they are beautiful very meaty x

Thank you. But she wouldnt have that apart from the dessert as she is a veggie lol. I'd do her Saganaki with a honey glaze and greek salad.

Ohhh saganki sounds interesting I'd give that a shot. Sounds like a Japanese drink

It does doesnt it lol. Its hard fried coated cheese such as Halloumi. Its a Greek dish. Nice with chilli jam."

Love chilli jam. Do you make your own?

"I think I would start with a goats cheese and beetroot tartlet, with salad leaves.

Main would probably be a good fillet steak cooked to the persons liking accompanied with fried onion mash and seasonal veg

Desert would probably knock up a lemon posset

Mr"

Perfect choice
