I don't believe in star signs but i do think that the time of year that you are born has an influence in your developing personality/character.
Being born into a warm, bright summer world is a different experience to being born into a cold dark winter world....but im a taurus so might be wrong.... |

as the moon pulls the tides, other planets have an effect..yep, the details of your birth chart are more accurate obviously than a generic horoscope that's what makes them unique..one of the most ancient sciences..precession and astrology.

I don't feel 100% comfortable stating it but I'm a bit closed minded about astrology.
The concept of stars that are millions of miles away, as well as just happening to fit into neat animal shapes etc, influencing the personality markedly of people on earth leaves me cold.
I think it's a relic of a time when superstitious people needed comfort and some thought of control upon their destinies, when the power was elsewhere.
It seems unbelievable to me and most unlikely. |

It's a minor facet of the nature versus nurture debate.
It's not stars. There's probably more influence from a bottle of mil, than there is from those supposed star signs. I'm a bull5 hit detector. |

"I don't think you could be labeled at all Mr joe
Oh, quite easily.
Guess.
Hurting my head trying to guess, give me a clue "
Ok, fine.
I was in a hippy bookshop in Glastonbury and found a little book of star signs and, as you do, idly flipped to my entry.
In this pretty little picture book was a stunted entry that read:
Scorpio
Nobody likes Scorpios; they're full of nothing but sex, pain and death.

Just what I would have said... You just did it so much more eloquently than I would have

Yep! Another one here into nothing but pain, sex and death! Must change my profile!
I do not believe in astrology as in daily, monthly blah blah but I do believe in a cosmological balance and cycles of nature....but we humans are far above that and know better |

Just some barnum statement type crap ain't they..
I imagine some computer program spits a dozen of them out every day, throws in a line about it being related to any old crap the planets and stars are up to that day and that's about it |
