I've loved Erik Satie since I was a child and always find his music atmospheric - this interpretation of Gnossiene #1 by Anders Miolin on the Alto Guitar is lovely

There's quite a few good ones been mentioned but one I used to play loud after a few drinks is called...The Lonely Shepherd....dunno who by but it's on the Kill Bill soundtrack.
I think it appealed to me as I'm still a country boy at heart |
