Former BBC disc jockey Jimmy Young has died. probably best known for being a bit of a crooner as well.

another name from childhood gone. i always remember my dads friend being a massive fan of JY and as an apprentice i'd keep switching his radio to radio 1. drove him nuts. Good times, its bloody awful getting old!

Its times like this that you realise even more the generation you grew up with gets less daily and their ways of life in this case in the (kitchen) will be remembered just in books but in reality as time goes on thats always been the case the bad things yes we don,t miss but the good things we do part of life but sad just look after yer books..
