I know a song that gets on your nerves, gets on your nerves, gets on your nerves.
I know a song that gets on your nerves and this is how it goes.
I know a song that will get on your nerves, get on your nerves, get on your nerves.
I know a song that will get on your nerves, and this is how it goes.
I know a song that'll get on your nerves, get on your nerves, get on your nerves.
I know a song that'll get on your nerves, and it goes like this |

Ah this is going to sound like a little dig, and I promise it's not meant to be honest OP, (so sorry if it sounds like it is ) but it's more a generic point I want to make rather than directly in response to the OP..
I used to get hungover lots as a young 'un but now I honesty don't see the value of drinking into such a stupor that I feel stupidly ill the next day (and beyond ..).
On the rare occasions I drink now I'll get myself merry and maintain myself there by pacing without tipping over into the blind d*unk phase.
You still have a jolly good merry time without the hangover effects the next day
I know - I'm a boring old mood Hoover but it works for me |

Not to sound smug OP (well, maybe a little ) but I quit drinking a few months back after I got blind d*unk in a club and made a complete ass of myself and I really don't miss it. No more wasted days feeling ill and saved loads of money. I realise that it was your birthday and as such thoroughly deserved but give it a try, you may surprise yourself

I've just totted up my recent alcohol intake (I have a food and drink counter app) and have realised that since I turned 40 back in the summer I have d*unk 2 pints of beer. Total. And still haven't d*unk the bottle of bubbly someone got me as a birthday present. |

a quandary, could you change my mind? |
Hope the Birthday bash was a great one OP.
I have heard those words so many times from different people.
I only drink on limited occasions, with very special company, I've noticed it's taking much less to get me to the point of no return and taking longer to recover the next day (or two) if I've gone past the tipping point. (don't tell anyone I think it's an age thing) |
