Any kind of beef stew always turns out well, you can get the cheaper cuts of meat and if cooked long and low it always turns out nice.
Or slow cooked chilli with either beef or turkey mince. |

I've never pre-cooked any meat before it hits the crock. It's usually cooked for between 4-8 hours, depending how tender and 'fall apart' you like your meat. |

Most recipes will say cook this, sear that, brown this but everything goes in raw when I use my crock pot. I've had mine for about ten years and use it a lot at least twice a week.
I did a lovely lamb tagine type thing the other day. Was yum.
Really enjoying eastern Mediterranean food at the moment. Harissa with everything. |

I do a lamb stew put it on low night before also same with lambs hearts lovely and tender .or chicken casserole thighs or drumsticks place in pot with chopped onions bacon mushrooms add 2tins condensed mushroom soup 2 bayleafs have with whatever. Veg you want |

I usually do this but you don't have to, Ive got a chicken provencal going as we speak as I couldn't be bothered with doing a roast for one today |
